An embroidered book cover, oblong, for a book measuring 9.5 x 6 inches. Fully opened it measures 19.5 x 6.25 inches. Weight is 74 grams. The front panel is on blue silk, the center embroidered in a floral design using several colours of chenille thread incorporating metal sequins and ornamentation, surrounded by extensive couched work in gold and silver.
