An autograph letter from Goldsborough Banyer to Mathew Vischer, a Counselor at Law in Albany, NY. Dated New York, 9th December 1785. 1 & 1/4 pages, closely written in black pen, with Banyar's flowery signature at the end. Concerning the claim to some land in New York State which was being made by a family in London. Twice folded, a piece torn away where the wax seal (still present) was attached (not affecting text).
