1 Murrell (William) The Death and Adventures of Cecil Jardine.
NY: The Latterday Pamphlets, 1928. First edition. Beige wrappers, sewn, designed in green and lettered in black. One illustration within: Mid-summer Idyl by Charles H. Howard. Paper browning somewhat, a fine copy. Printed by Paul Johnston in an edition of 150 copies, as Number 1 of The Latterday Pamphlets series, of which he did 6 altogether. This is a short tale of a man's psychic adventures between when he collapses, insensible, and when he dies, some six weeks later. There is a very humorous spoof erratta on the final page. Murrell is notable for having edited The History of American Graphic Humor (1933/38).
