London: Leadenhall Press, 1890. One Hundred & Twenty-Second Edition. Beige decorative cloth, spine and front cover lettered in black, front & back covers designed in blue. One leaf of ads at rear, followed by a 14-page catalogue. Ownership signature dated 1891, some wear to spine ends, dust soiling of cloth, a very good copy in general. First published in 1889. The catalogue at the rear includes a nice 2-page display of type specimins used by Leadenhall.

2 Jerome (Jerome K.) Three Men on the Bummel. Illustrated by L. Raven Hill.

Bristol: Arrowsmith/London: Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent and Co, [1900]. First edition. Wine cloth, spine designed and lettered in gilt, front cover designed and lettered in red. Frontispiece & numerous illustrations in the text. Some wear to tips and spine ends, cloth a bit rubbed, quite a bright very good copy in general. Issued as Vol. XXXVI in Arrowsmith's 3/6 Series. Copies also exist in brown cloth. The American edition, also issued in 1900, came out under the title: THREE MEN ON WHEELS. The word 'Bummel' is a German word, meaning a sort of round trip. The novel features the protagonists of Jerome's earlier work THREE MEN IN A BOAT (1889), this time on a cycling tour of the German Black Forest.
