1 Jennings (G.L.) Petar Gigic.
cat40a
London: John Heritage, The Unicorn Press, (1936). First edition. Light brown cloth, spine designed and lettered in black. Some wear to rear hinge, ownership inscription on front fly leaf, a very good copy. Unfortunately, someone has marked up the first three pages of the prologue with a blue pencil, making many notations. This novel concerns the Slavs under Austrian domination. Much to do with spys, surveillance, conspiracy. The novel seems to combine elements of a murder mystery, with much concerning the circus. An unusual novel. The author wrote one other book, which is listed in Hubin: MURDER AT THE LAKES (Mortiboys, 1936). Both books are extremely uncommon.
