In the original envelope, postmarked 22 Jan 1973, addressed to Tom Clark in Bolinas, Ca.; "Brodey" written on the back of the envelope. Three poems on individual pages, twice folded, one signed in holograph, the other two with "Jim Brodey" typed. These have been reproduced by mimeograph or hectograph, and are very faded and difficult to read, but still legible. Brodey and Clark were associated, co-editing The Bolinas Hit in 1969. Brodey died in 1993.

Modern Language Notes, January, 1948. A 4-page offprint, on two leaves, stapled. Twice folded, very good condition. Inscribed by Bronson in pencil on the first page, "For Albert, affectionately / B..;d." This short piece on Shakespeare's songs from Love's Labour's Lost appeared in Modern Language Notes, January, 1948, pages 35 - 38. This is evidently an offprint prepared for the author, as the first and last pages contain only the text of his piece, not any of the other text as it appeared in the periodical. From the Bronson collection distributed by Serendipity Books some years ago.

An illustrated card measuring 5 x 7 inches, containing a poem by Broughton and an announcement of his daughter's birth in November, 1963. Small yellow tape mark to the upper corner, otherwise fine. This appears to be a card sent out to announce the birth. The poem was later reprinted in a collection.
