Original brown cloth stamped in blind, spine designed and lettered in gilt. Pale yellow end papers. Bookplate removed from front end paper, leaving some residue, scattered light foxing, a few creased leaves, but in general this is quite a bright, very good copy. The final pages, following several ads, print a letter from Fuller to Charles Dickens, soliciting a new book, and the letter sent in response by Dickens. Occult novel of magic, and the search for the elixir of life.
