Issued separately, these are usually found in a slipcase, however this set has been bound into a single volume. The folder which usually contains the booklets has been used as a title page and contents page. 500 copies were printed. Half-calf & marbled boards, unlettered. A bit of scuffing to edges, but nearly fine. There is a small stain on a blank rear flyleaf, otherwise contents are fine. Facsimiles of letters from Bret Harte, Jack London, George Sterling, John Muir, Mark Twain, and others.

In the original envelope, postmarked 22 Jan 1973, addressed to Tom Clark in Bolinas, Ca.; "Brodey" written on the back of the envelope. Three poems on individual pages, twice folded, one signed in holograph, the other two with "Jim Brodey" typed. These have been reproduced by mimeograph or hectograph, and are very faded and difficult to read, but still legible. Brody and Clark were associated, co-editing The Bolinas Hit in 1969. Brodey died in 1993.
