Cloth has chips from spine and edges, rear hinge is splitting. Internally a sound and very good copy. A second edition appeared in 1906; this first edition is not common.

There is also an Appleton edition of 1889.

Both are Number 49 of editions of 500, inscribed and signed by the publisher, Edouard Champion. The inscriptions are dated Berkeley, 22 Sept. 26. Minor spotting to the back of one plate, some soft wrinkling to margins, about fine otherwise. The reproductions are captioned: "Manuscrit No. 1362 du Musee Conde a Chantilly, connu sous le nom de LIVRE D'HEURES DE LA DUCHESSE DE BOURGOGNE (Adelaide de Savoie)."
